Holy ... wow! Yeah, I'm very happy and pleased with that number. A quiet house, the music I want to listen to, and no interruptions means I can get a lot done. A secret world's been found and the group has talked a very closed community into accepting them, for a time.
Reading:
Deceive Not my Heart by Shirlee Busbee Yep, still on mindless romance and considering where I'm staying lately it's the perfect companion. I'm getting more time to read these days as I've been taking lunch in the backyard and reading there for a bit each day. It's wonderful!
Knitting: It's not done yet ... but it's getting much closer. I had hoped to have it done by Friday to get pictures and all but it's not looking terribly likely, it may have to be put off for a week. As Dragon says, "we'll see". On the plus side, if I do manage to get it all done ... he's agreed to help with pictures. Win! I have made a lot of progress on it though. I'm on my next to last color and have only 2 more color changes to go.

Gorgeous pattern and the color changes are lovely the way they shade together.
ReplyDeleteThank you! The customer picked out some amazing colors. :D
DeleteOh, those color changes are beautiful! I love the combination of purple and pink you're using!
ReplyDeleteI'm normally not a fan of pink but I do love the way this slowly goes from grey to pink.
DeleteOooo...pretty colors!!!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a garden, perhaps an English garden. :)
DeleteYour WIP is simply gorgeous and congratulations on your writing goal!
ReplyDeleteIt's been wonderful to get some of that writing taken care of. Hopefully once I'm home again I can keep the schedule.
Deleteyour chinook is coming along beautifully
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteWow!!! That pattern and yarn are working up gorgeously. The colors transitions are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI really love how switching one strand every few rows gives it such a smooth transition.
DeleteI really adore the Chinook pattern and I love the colors you've selected. I tried to purchase the pattern/kit on Knitpicks and they no longer offer it - Boooooo
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think I purchased it back when it was on close out. Then it sat in stash for a long while so I could work on other stuff. I do wish they'd bring it back as so many people seem to love it.
